The Pillars of this Programme are: Nostalgia - Collaboration - Recreation Reminiscent Theatre is about seeing and realising the dramatic potential in real life stories. It takes verbatim memories as the basis for theatre scripts, using the experiences of older people as a source of artistic productions and therapeutic creativity. My aim is to create a space where each person can share their memory of an Irish dance hall from the 20th century. Once the stories have been shared the ensemble will recreate their memories through music and dialog. At the end of the eight weeks we will aim to transform the theatre into a dance hall experience and open it for one night only to Kilmallock community and anyone else who would like to join us! – Aisling Christina Ryan Class Act Acting Class Act Acting will introduce a number of Artforms at this year's summer camp in Friars' Gate Theatre. They will include Acting, Singing, Improv, Clowning, Movement and Fun, Fun, Fun. The camp will run for 5 days and on day 5 we will be inviting parents/guardians to join us for a very short display of what was created during the week.
